Hey all I just got married!

Hi all... I am so pleased to share with all of you that I just got married on Monday December 12th . I am now Ruthie Pople. The wedding was held in Fulton, New York and Pastor William Ormsb performed the ceremony. We were joined by my son Russell and my new step daughter Karen. My other step daughter Jessica was working but it was a beautiful day.

Hey all..it is another Avony day... I guess God is good and you can have it all.. selling Avon and raising Chickens ...and working with Celebs...now that is a range of Activity don't you think... :)
I thought it would be way cool to network with all those who love Homesteading , chickens, farming, etc.. as this has become a way of life for me since Mr. Clay and I have hooked up. You know my sweet love sang to me on our 3 d date...just melted my heart in a million pieces. It isn't fun having your husband of 20 years run off and leave you and your family to start over..but.. God sent Mr. Clay to be our bridge over troubled waters.. and now together we are selling Avon. Clay has taught me the love of homesteading, how to be a Extreme Couponer and to take back what the devil has stoled from me as far as my Avon business is concerned. I did have to forgive. It was hurtful I will confess to leave the company but it was the right thing to do at the time and now I am back and with Clay by my side. It was fun to take a break from Avon and become the top seller for Lazboy Furniture in the company. The first year there...But my heart has always been in cosmetics and I just love the customers and the representatives. So many of you know me personally and I am hoping to meet more of you. So many know me also from my other activities including PR with Celebrities and my online life as I am one of the most influential people online. Last I cked I had a higher rating on twitter than some of the developers it was funny... doesn't matter though my INFLUENCE is from the Lord and I know it...also some of you know me from my passion for church work ...and others just from the home town girl from Baldwinsville New York.. I had to write all those so you would know you have the right person.. I wear many hats and officially I am the girl that everyone knows. I believe this is all God's doing and I live by a Scripture he gave me years ago Psalm 40:2 He brought me out of the miry clay and set my feet on a rock and established my goings...it goes on to say that many will see it, I believe that you are part of that many and that as a Christian I used to say God, Why? like when I inherited close to 1/2 million dollars and didn't even know the guy.. (don't worry stock market ate it up) all said.. It has been a wild ride so far...but the best is yet to be.. and hang with me.. I am real easy call me anytime.. but check out this Avon stuff... 3. I haven't tried these myself yet...but with Fall coming the critters seem to jump on the animals to get warm...try these and please comment to let us know if they really work.

6. Rosemary Flea Dip: steep 2 cups of fresh rosemary in boiling water for a half an hour. Strain the liquid and get rid of the leaves. Add up to a gallon of warm water to the hot water. Wait until the water is just luke warm and pour over your dog until he or she is soaked. Allow to dry naturally (great on hot summer days).
7. Apple Cider Vinegar: you can use this stuff 1 of 2 ways. First, if you put a spoonful of apple cider vinegar into your dog's water, it makes their skin more acidic and not-at-all appealing to fleas. If your dog doesn't handle the taste of the vinegar well, try diluting it 50/50 with water and pouring it into a spray bottle to use as a repellent.
8. Lemon Spray Repellent: quarter a lemon, cover the pieces with boiling water and let it steep overnight. In the morning, spray this solution all over your dog, especially behind the ears, around the head, around the base of the tail and under your dog's legs.

Sooo.. for sure there are lots of great buys out there...I kissed some of my coupon stock pile away this week by bringing some to PEACE. I stockpiled some Avon and brought a gift to the Senior Center, and today I am bagging up stuff to bring to the Rescue Mission... This is the part of Couponing you don't see...but it is why we do what we do... I also... have mixed feelings about big stockpiles in the home... so many people are just so uninformed about this.. Here is the scoop...You either let people shop your house with all your freebies or you are like me and load up the car a few times a week to donate... so why bother at all you may say? Well, when you see the needy faces and peole...need I say more and if you have ever had a season of desprate struggling you say...you know I remember when it was all I could do to get to the goodwill for the week just to give some relief... that is why :)...and believe it or not ...most of the time it is the very nicely dressed people who just lost their jobs, had a illness, etc... who are at that spot where they haven't figured out what to do ...we are the gap fillers.

I have been doing this for years and love it... If you have a blog and love to read...why not get the books you love totally FREE...for awhile I was getting almost 50 books a week and then slowed way down.. All you do is write to the authors and tell them the name of the blog you are going to put the review in and ask them to mail you the books. Be honest so your readers will know if they really want to read the book...

All said Kind Stephanie Bond wrote the Book Baby Drive South and mailed it to me to review.

The book was really a sweet story about a town rebuilding itself that put out a ad to draw women in it , as there were none. Carloads of women came to the town to the surprise of the men and what a hoot this is!

 A female doctor shows up and they have to do things to keep her from escaping them! Finally she falls for one of the men and battles with her feelings for him as she ran to the town to escape a broken heart. A fun read for those of us who love romance . This is part one of the series Southern Roads all written by Stephanie Bond. You should be able to pick this up at Amazon.com as well as Barnes and Nobles. Hurray for Stephanie.

The REAL reason Price Chopper is Voted #1 in the Times Union Readers Poll

I have found Price Chopper to be the nicest place to shop ...nice manager, nice workers, best deals, easy to work with etc.. and they DOUBLE coupons and You can save on YOUR GAS! This video is out there ...but I don't agree at all...Price Chopper here even beats Walmart... any thoughts?

Free education.... on You Tube and Big foot...

I laugh and say we can learn almost anything from just watching YOU TUBE. Big Foot is a subject that comes up at our house a lot more than more homes. Clay for a hobby loves cryptozoology. He loves Animals and creatures, zoos, chickens...so naturally anything having to do with animals draws his attention. Once Clay told me that their were animals that were recently created... God talks about hidden treasures so who knows...maybe God still has animals he has hidden from us to see the joy of people who finally discover them...all said... You can learn almost anything by watching You Tube. Not sure of my thoughts on Big Foot. But the guys here do have fun talking about it, and making silly videos pretending they are a animal...and I personally would much much rather watch You tube videos than Television as much on TV now seems to be silly reality shows...and let's face it guys...there is a camera rolling...so it isn't a surprise...so you tube is more for me. And that is the direction that TV is going anyway...it will be interesting to see who the NEW CELEBRITIES are in the NEXT FEW YEZRS as the younger generation watches internet and some of the old performers will be like when TV changed from the non talking to talking shows and color...so grab your news, education, from You tube...and hey who knows You may even want to start your own you tube, ustream, blog tv, blog radio, yadda yadda. and as most advertisers are finding if they aren't using the bloggers, the youtubers, facebook give-a-ways, twitter parties,mobile alerts, like flash mobs advertising so to speak etc...they are going to miss out on the next wave of advertising. so there too we get our commercials even only directly from the consumers now. So enjoy it , it is free there is talk of you tube charging...in the future...but It may just be a rumor. How to cut your hair yourself

I have been in he beauty biz for over 20 years and one thing I picked up along the way was cutting your own hair... You can save a ton learning to do your own nails and hair ...you may have a few bad hair cuts but after awhile you will get really good at it. I was paying a hundred dollars to dye cut, yadda yadda now I do it and it costs about three dollars with coupons for the hair color etc.. and you learn your own head and what looks best on you. Okay if you haven't met the great Diva... Okay guys... It really pays to make friends of everyone you know...and hopefully you are the one that blesses your friends expecting nothing in return...we have two huge trees in our yard and we have some good friends that are going to cut them down on the cheap...what a blessing from the Lord. The Lord says the workman is worthy of his hire. Folks we don't have the thousands to pay to cut these trees down...please pray for our friends that are giving us a great deal that the Lord will bless them. Morale of the story... Insight on companies...Johnson and Johnson

Hi all...
I have been waiting to share with you all about this part of my couponing experience. I ONLY deal with the BEST companies that MAKE MY A list... I just wrote to Johnson and Johnson and requested samples of their products. They are known to be the Company for Families so let's wait and see the response so I can share with you all.

I have been working on this list for awhile.. and want to encourage you not to purchase the CHEAPEST products but the BEST PRODUCTS...this isn't all about savings...this is about a quality abundant life. I ONLY PURCHASE THE BEST PRODUCTS...sometimes it takes a little bit of experimenting to get this done..but once I sample the products I start to purchase the best one and coupon or not I stock up on that company and promote it to my friends. Keep reading my blogs and watch my You tubes on Ruthies Coupon Channel... also feel free to chime in and give suggestions of companies I should review and products you find. Let's make our coupon experience make our families live in the lap of luxury. This isn't about being cheap but wise and cheap isn't always the best value. Hey when I pick up a product I want a good deal financially, I want a good deal in the fact that I can go to the company and ask questions and get a response, I want a company that offers me coupons...not ...oh just go to our site and print out the coupon. If I took the time to phone I expect them to mail me a coupon. I will actually purchase from a lower product if the customer service is lousy. I want to know I have access to those who are putting input in my family. The people that answer the phones for the companies are my FIRST IMPRESSION if they put someone on that isn't nice and pleasant... I probably won't buy...now I am a sweet nice lady but like a good lawyer...you have to be able to talk to them...if they say shut up trust me I am the lawyer...well... no matter what people say he's not for me...you have to be able to communicate. The internet is a great place to bond with your companies. I do call companies daily. I don't just want a coupon. I want to know the new products they are coming out with, what the girl/guy who answers the phone suggests as the best product for me... If the company just has a recording...well.. they don't even care enough to hire someone to answer my questions...How do they even get feedback without making it a pain for their consumers. We want things fast and now.. the companies that don't know how to market are going to be blown away in the dust. I have been a top seller for Avon and Lazboy.... rule #1 in sales... Make them a friend...and you will have business forever with referrals. Like Zig Ziglar says that great sales man... On the other side of those doors are lifetime friends and same with companies on the other side of those phone lines are lifetime friends... CALL YOUR COMPANIES...don't just purchase BE IN THE KNOW! Couponing in my opinion is REVERSE SALES....You are getting paid with your savy shopping skills of SAVING and the more you do it the better you will be...that was a freebie for all you new couponers...KNOWLEDGE IS WORTH A LOT...so all said... I will let you all know the response I get from Johnson and Johnson I heard good news so I will let you know how they work for me. Hopefully they will send me the samples and make a lifetime customer who will promote them for life. Make a call ...get some coupons!

Hi everyone...
Here is a great way to get some good...good coupons...
CALL the PRODUCT COMPANIES and ASK for Samples and/or Coupons!

so where do you get the numbers???? Right on the products and/or on the internet just google them.
If you go to the grocery store...carry a pen and a pad of paper and write down all the products you want to try and call the companies MANY MANY times they will send you a FREE coupon!

I just did this with Cologate and they sent me two coupons one for a free toothbrush and one for toothpaste both FREE up to $3.99 I bought the TOTAL toothpaste as if you are going to call the companies you may as well ask what is good and what is NEW ... and I got their latest toothbrush with surround brushing ..manual sooo cool.. The Total toothpaste from Crest also PROTECTS YOUR TEETH FOR 12 hours.. I ONLY ONLY ONLY want to stockpile those products that my family loves otherwise it is a waste of time.. So todays freebie for me was the toothpaste and toothbrush... and trust me I am very excited about using this. I have been using the Luminous Cologate and LOVE IT LOVE IT LOVE IT...got it at Kinneys when I oops..cleared the shelf ...asked for a rain ck for more and they said no...hmmm..but oh well.. they said it was a special promo...yes..got that toothpaste for free too with a coupon...by matching the sales flyer with the coupon and made a penny on each one.. and used the overage to buy shame , shame..CANDY... so there I am at the counter with about 70 candy bars on sale and then coupon match up ..for freebies and about 25 toothpaste for free.. gave lots of toothpaste to families in need and shared with a group I was training at PEACE as well. the coupon... and I think I had some toothpaste with me that day ...oh well that's the deal. :) so...just a little couponing story for you all :)

Hey everyone... I have been doing this extreme couponing thing about 3 months and found there is no way you can do this successfully without being a EXTREME GIVER! 

It is Spring, summer, fall...time...meaning a little bit warmer for those in the North East to unbundle themselves and to re kindle friendships and to hit the streets with better weather etc.. So this is the perfect time to help out your friends by clipping coupons! I am starting a project called Friend's Clip. I am running into families who desprately need supplies and into mommies that need to learn how to clip coupons to help their families. ..BUT I NEED YOUR HELP! We can do more together than apart... a coupon may be garbage to you..such as depends, baby diapers, baby formula, allegra, kotex, dishwashing soap, laundry soap..yadda, yadda but it can be like PURE GOLD to someone else! Coupons are MONEY but the ones you aren't using can be TRASH or be a HUGE HUGE blessing to someone in need... I am on a COUPON DRIVE ! Let me share a step further... God is blessing me with the knowledge of how to shop for free... some of you may want to learn this,,,and some of you may want to use my talents to SHOP for others to bless them with acutal Products. So I need coupons to Shop with to get items for FREE for others and I need coupons to give to those in need to TRAIN them how to do this for themselves. I will be speaking at PEACE soon and I am hoping to fill my calendar with events to help train and share other ways people can get stuff to help their families for need or just for good sense... not everyone is in need but just need to learn how to be a better shopper.. 2. If you know of any resources that will help people for free or nearly free please share them with me. So I can share in my newsletters, emails, etc.. or just take note so I can work with these things.

I will take a donation as it helps me to get there for gas, and also to use funds to get coupons and products, yadda...but not necessary (some people may not clip coupons but can send a donation to above address and just write for Friends Clip ) I have donated at least 3,000 worth of stuff in the last 3 months...and honestly if it wasn't for couponing, and the things I am learning about frugal living there is NO WAY I could do this..it is a miracle. I can't tell you the joy you feel when you bring a car load of Bounty, charmin, New clothing, etc..to people that are in need. Not JUNK but nice stuff. The point is God is blessing me with this talent and I want to use it and as I use it...it will GROW AND GROW. God may not call you to coupon...but you can refer people to me, clip coupons, or share information that can help others. Well, knowledge is power and I hope this is a blessing for any of you mom's and for people needing extra income..YES! YES! You can make LOTS of money selling YOUR time CLIPPING coupons to sell on EBAY.

Here is how to do it...
Purchase 10-20 newspapers...
Get your WHOLE FAMILY INVOLVED
Clip EVERY SINGLE COUPON   Investment approx $20

Sell 10 coupons... at a time Example 10 BUY ONE GET ONE FREE TRIDENT COUPONS
verse 100 assorted coupons... (you will probably make $1 - $2 on both so stretch it out and people will WANT TO TARGET WHAT THEY WANT )

You cannot SELL COUPONS BUT YOU CAN SELL YOUR TIME TO CUT AND SORT COUPONS so your ad will be something like this...


find a picture of coupons online if you don't have a camera and put with ad

10 Buy one Get one FREE TRident Coupons BIG SAVINGS!!!! (adding the Big savings does A LOT FOR THE AD TRUST ME!)


10 Manufacter's coupons clipped from the Sunday Newspaper expiring ------ 

Total savings ......(what ever they are saving)
The COUPONS ARE FREE! You are paying for my time to cut and clip coupons for YOU!

FREE SHIPPING (people flock to this!...but start your bidding at .99 or at least the price of the postage!

NO REFUNDS OR RETURNS (they can still complain...but may prevent some shady fellows from sorting and sending back what they don't want...which I think happens on ebay...I think ebay will still send them the money back...you have to check you shouldn't have problems but many ebayers list it this way).

The EXTRA coupons...bundle up in packs of 100 just to sell off...or trade with coupon trains... I have one just click on my tab at the front..

This is A LOT OF WORK...but if you are at home and need extra income it may be a great little helper to earn some more money to purchase what you need for your family. This is just my take on this not a guarantee but this seems to work for many. You will also want to purchase the book How To Sell coupons on Ebay and really Make Money. Ebay also will help you and assist you in doing this. I don't sell coupons on ebay. It is a hassle and I have heard others say it.. but if that is ALL YOU DO... and you aren't a extreme couponer saving them for yourself this may be a great source of income for you and you will probably learn the ropes and master it. It is definitely a money maker especially since ebay has so many free deals and you can list like 100 ads for free if they are like $1.00 and under on item.. and also ... if you speak with ebay they can increase your level above 100 . It is definitely worth a try and even though it is a hassle for me... as I am so busy with other activities doesn't mean that YOU can't do very well especially if you are a little mommy at home or are a senior citizen or doing home parties etc.. you may love the extra income. ...or if you have a job that allows you to do this at your desk all day. Just my take on it... Some people can make $100-$400 a week on this.. Just from what I heard not a guarantee again...just giving some insight after researching and reporting on this.. as you all know I am checking all this stuff out and sharing what I am finding out about extreme couponing with you. Hi everyone...been sooo crazy busy... but then again... that's me in general... got 100 peeps, loading up the car for bear to donate stuff...and shopping my little heart out for great deals... I wanted to just remind you all to watch the Extreme couponing show on TLC there has been so much talk it has been amusing and enlightening.. Now remember it is all about ratings...yadda yadda but grab your pen and pencils you are about to learn some great things. They are still looking for contestants so email them.. they may call you. I know in my hometown they are doing extreme home make overs Baldwinsville, New York...I moved about a hour away...but go there daily.. and people are asking about that as well.. and many couponers remodel with the extra cash.. I asked TLC to do a follow up show to show the Extreme Giving from these couponers as that to me is the real story... I have been doing this since January and give to peace, the rescue mission, senior centers, there are a few families that are in desprate need. One cried yesterday after Clay and I brought over a carful of groceries... I mean...if I wasn't couponing how could I afford to do this? you can't bless others if you aren't blessed. I personally do not know a extreme couponer who doesn't EXTREME DONATE and if you are couponing you have to give in and give out.. Yes, I am hearing hoarding and all that stuff...but I know from working at a church that you need to give but there are a lot of takers... hard saying but the poor you will have with you always...You should give liberally as much as you can when someone is in need physically EMOTIONALLY or SPIRITUALLY meaning sometimes in my opinion you may have a million dollars but you need to have someone give you a gift say a a basket of hairspray...or you may know a family that dad just found out he has surgery help support them for awhile if you can... thus the stockpile cuz you know how to shop...as a professional...so you NEED to have a full pantry as lots coming in and lots going out...and of course you feed your own family as well. I think some of these giver couponers do more than many church food pantries... All said... that is the NEXT step in couponing when you find yourself with more than your family can use start to pray and ask the Lord who needs the help.

Don't limit yourself to just couponing on the sites...find out the deals and steals on ebay... sometimes I say you tube has the answer for everything...give yourself some time and check out all those you tubes on you tube about ebay.,.. also get to know ebay sellers and ask them how they sell and ask buyers and ask them how they buy... many will WATCH a item and only bid near end to keep cost down...

Go to some LIVE AUCTIONS...this week there is a live auction near me .. I am selling some of my silkie and Polish Chickens as well as call ducks as we are working with our laying hens more this year. I feel so proud as how beautiful they look. It makes me very happy to see someone able to enjoy them as much as we did. By going to some auctions you may get some tips for ebay as well. And have some fun. I always leave with more than I planned to buy so go with a list of what you want this way you won't over buy. This year I am not staying for the auction but am going to enjoy the day. But I love going to see what is out there and sometimes on ebay same thing you should go just to enjoy and resist the buy unless it is just a crazy good deal. which is where you should be anyway on ebay...buy what you NEED and ONLY buy when the price is low it is crazy. Be a savy! Then if you buy something say a brand new pair of rollerblades for 1.00 just resell them on ebay say in the middle of summer! Timing is the key too...look for stuff that people are dumping that may be seasonal and resell at the right time of year and find the market and network on the net say you search ebay for rollerskates...network all over the net with rollerskaters then in the right season be the go to guy and say hey I got skates here and sell that way or say go to my ebay and you can buy them...YOU be in control..:)

Extreme Couponing on TLC hit the Streets!

Woot ! Woot! Extreme Couponing has hit the street... and the talk has started....

I checked around the net to listen in on the buzz and to add my two cents... which is it is awesome! MANY People are confused and feel it is hoarding...and boy it looks like it...until you know what is really happening which is that they are purchasing for their family the groceries at the lowest prices and donating BIG TIME...I am sure there are exceptions...but personally from what I have observed so far...I haven't found any extreme couponers just keeping it...they are giving away and using their skills to stockpile... I have worked with food groups before and seen people crab...only give out a bag...and seen food get buggy on the shelf... rather than help out people...me...I used to fill their cars... I worked at a church and we had a food pantry...and I have worked and been involved in church since I have been a kid...so trust me I have seen a lot...including the church asking people to donate a turkey and seeing hands go up and then someone also raising their hand to get a turkey who was donating one...some people just want to be seen and are as proud as a peacock..as the Bible says ...they get their reward... anyway...my daddy was a big giver and so am I  you can't outgive God... I love this couponing thing...many people would love to save money on their groceries or help their families and they can't because they don't know the skills..to me this is no different than being a food buyer, a stock buyer , etc.. buying low...only these guys are giving it away if it gets too much... we all need to brush up on our saving skills and learn how to manage our money...americans are in so much debt...take some of your money and give it away if you don't want to coupon... why hoard it all to the credit card companies... and bill collectors...shame...shame... learn to coupon...be frugal and be a blessing...sitting on a soap box...but wait a minute...I don't think it is because they WANT to .... I think it is because people don't know HOW TO... TA DA...Weusecoupons.com and KrazyCouponLady...and Me and others are SHOWING YOU HOW! ...I think there are people who don't know how, don't understand, or just refuse and won't unless it becomes a trend and they are the odd ball...or then again...there will be those who just won't.. Balance...find your comfort level...but even if you hate it and do it for your kids to get sneakers...hey...it's like going to work..not fun...but we all like to eat... get your family outta debt this thing works..this is just my opinion... now I know it sounds like I am coming on strong... just want to get you thinking... I am a christian...so you will hear me say it like it is...just because you don't want to believe there is a God doesn't mean He doesn't exist ...same here...it works...but guys.. be patient...research it ...like I am doing ...don't feel pressure...watch all videos on my blog...contact the couponers... see for yourself ...question, question, question...you gotta brain.. don't believe all you see on TV it's about ratings honey...some people watch TV and just because someone has a microphone they think it's true ... you gotta know the WHOLE STORY...get out there and contact some of these guys.. The Bible says KNOW THOSE WHO LABOR AMONG YOU>..get to see if they are for real or just posers... then draw your own conclusions...so far in my research it's working...and I have food, money, and time to prove it...Hope this helps and gets you thinking.. you may try it this year, or next, just watch it and see if it is for real and don't be afraid to ask questions..if it is right there is no secrets :)
